Celebrate Mesa

On April 16th, starting at noon, the Pioneer Park will be the Earth Day place to be. There will be a solar cooking demo, a tree hugging booth, live entertainment, and more. Celebrate Mesa is free to the public.

Bike2Work Day

Let’s face it. Your S-Class is old news. You know what would really impress your coworkers? Leaving it at home! Bike to work on April 20th to participate in a tradition that is good for you and your environment. There will also be a Bike2Work Day event at Mesa City Plaza from 6-8 AM with activities, prizes, and pancakes.

Mesa Community Farmer’s Market

The farmer’s market goes all year long, but what better way to celebrate the Earth than purchasing locally grown, organic, fruits and vegetables! The market is open every Friday at City Hall Plaza.

MACFest

MACFest stands for Mesa Arts and Crafts Festival. It isn’t associated with Earth Day, but it is free to the public and takes place for the last time of the year on April 17th.

Backyard Gardening Workshop

Give back to the Earth by learning how to start a garden inside or outside of your house! Every 3rd Friday, True Garden Urban Farm on University Drive hosts a class to help you keep your garden, and yourself, alive.

Extreme Mustang Makeover
