State Parks & Hiking<\/h3>\n

Tom\u2019s Thumb Trail<\/strong>: you can find this trailhead at 23015 N 128th St, Scottsdale. This trail is part of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve.<\/p>\n

McDowell Mountains<\/strong>: another place in McDowell Sonoran Preserve. But since you\u2019ll already be there for Tom\u2019s Thumb Trail, you might as well just take a look around!<\/p>\n

Piestewa Peak<\/strong>: you can find the trailhead on 2701 E Squaw Peak Dr, in Phoenix. The trail is more strenuous, but the view at the top is incredibly rewarding.<\/p>\n

Papago Park<\/strong>: This park has plenty of great hiking locations, as well as the popular Hole-In-The-Rock location, though you\u2019ll probably find yourself sharing that particular location with lots of other photo-enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

Taliesin West<\/strong>: 12621 N Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd (at E Cactus Rd), Scottsdale. One of Frank Lloyd Wright\u2019s home, and now it is a great place to hear some fun history facts and look at wonderful sights.<\/p>\n

Sassi<\/strong>: 10455 E Pinnacle Peak Pkwy, Scottsdale. Dinner and an amazing view can make for a fantastic night.<\/p>\n

CopperWynd Resort and Club<\/strong>: 13225 N Eagle Ridge Dr, Scottsdale, AZ. Reported to have a beautiful sunset view of the city; make sure you get a table on the veranda.<\/p>\n

The Phoenician<\/strong>: 6000 E Camelback Rd, Scottsdale, AZ. With beautiful views and plenty of activities, this is a good area for anyone looking for a day of photography and fun.<\/p>\n
