2016 C-Class New Trim Release Dates and Prices

2016 welcomes the introduction of three new C-Class trims. The C450 AMG S, the C350e, and the C300d 4MATIC have never been seen before. The C450 AMG is replacing the C400 4MATIC and the other two are new and efficient additions to the 2016 C-Class family. The C300d will be powered by a diesel engine and the C350e will be a plug-in hybrid model. 2016 Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG 4MATIC

This one is for the speed junkies. The C400 is dead, but its spirit lives on in the C450 AMG. The C63 AMG and C63 S AMG still call all the shots around here, but the 450 will be powered by a V8 of its own and the addition of the AMG badge also means more sport upgrades. Mercedes-Benz hasn’t said much more than that, but it will be priced at $50,800, which is about $15,000 less than the C63 and $22,000 less than the C63 S. This is an excellent addition to the AMG name but it will not be available until September, so we’ll have to wait a few weeks.

2016 Mercedes-Benz C350e

The C350e will be a plug-in hybrid model that will meet the standards of ZEV states. This does only include 10 states, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get one if you don’t live in one of those states. California is right next door after all. It will have unique 18-inch wheels and AIRMATIC Suspension will come as a standard. We won’t actually see the C350e until the spring and pricing hasn’t been determined for this model yet.

2016 Mercedes-Benz C300d

Diesel is a good alternative to gasoline in certain situations because it is cheaper, more efficient, and provides more torque. All Mercedes-Benz has said about this one is that it will be available in the first quarter of 2016. There is no price yet but we will watch it closely.
