All-new 2019 AMG G 63 will launch with exclusive Edition 1 model

The all-new 2019 Mercedes-AMG G 63 underwent the greatest transformation in its history with a fresh facelift, improved on- and off-road performance, and a highly capable, responsive powertrain system. The new AMG G 63 will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6, 2018. When the off-road SUV launches in the U.S. by the end of 2018, it will be offered in a limited-production Edition 1 special model to celebrate the G 63’s new era. 2019 G-Class Special Model

On market launch, the 2019 Mercedes-AMG G 63 will be available as an exclusive Edition 1 special model. The Edition 1 model adds distinctive design elements and black and red accents throughout both the interior and the exterior of the vehicle. On the outside, the Edition 1 is painted in designo Night Black Magno with contrasting matte Graphite Grey sports stripes along the body. Exterior mirror housings with a decorative red strip and matte black 22” forged wheels with red-painted rim flanges finish off the special model’s distinctive look.

The red accents carry over to the G 63 Edition 1’s interior to give the cabin a sporty, athletic flair. Red accents can be found on various interior features, including red topstitching on the dashboard support, center console, rear seats, and door panels. The cockpit’s front sport seats feature Black/Red Pepper nappa leather and an upscale diamond pattern with red contrasting topstitching. Finally, the Edition 1’s standard AMG-performance steering wheel features red contrasting topstitching and a red 12 o’clock marking.
