Discover driving experiences in new dimensions with the all-new 2019 AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe. AMG®’s first four-door sports car, the new coupe offers special driving experiences in all three of its powerful, responsive models–GT 53, GT 63, and GT 63 S. The AMG® GT 53 model will be released in mid-2019, but the AMG® GT 63 and 63 S models will start to arrive at U.S. dealerships in early 2019. AMG® 4.0L V8 biturbo

The powerful, proven AMG® 4.0L V8 biturbo engine already used in numerous AMG models rests under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG® GT 63 and Mercedes-AMG® GT 63 S. The engine’s output has been increased even further and tuned to deliver superior, dynamic performance similar to a sports car. The top-of-the-line engine delivers incredible performance at every engine speed range. In the GT 63 S model, the engine features active engine mounts that provide maximum comfort and optimal driving dynamics. The GT 63 model can also be equipped with the engine mounts with the optional Dynamic Plus Package.

The 2019 AMG® GT 63 model delivers an outstanding 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. The model reaches 60 MPH from a complete standstill in just 3.3 seconds and boasts a top speed of 193 MPH. The 2019 AMG® GT 63 S model delivers an exhilarating 630 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque from 2,500-4,500 rpm.

AMG®-enhanced 3.0L I6 engine with EQ Boost

The 2019 AMG® GT 53 model is available with the innovative AMG®-enhanced 3.0L inline-six turbo engine with EQ Boost. A starter-alternator, EQ Boost combines a starter motor and alternator into one electric motor placed between the engine and transmission. Characterized by high-performance and maximum efficiency, the electric EQ Boost offers an additional 21 horsepower to the engine’s 429 horsepower output and up to 184 lb-ft of torque while also reducing fuel consumption and emissions. The AMG® GT 53 sprints from zero to 60 MPH in a quick 4.4 seconds and achieves a top speed of 174 MPH.
