With EQ Power, Mercedes-Benz Offers Drivers Plug-In Hybrid Models

EQ – which standard for ‘Electric Intelligence’ – is at the center of the plug-in hybrid technology. There are six unique models from Mercedes-Benz that feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain, and each model offers COMFORT, ECO and INDIVIDUAL drive modes that control the consumption and power of the vehicle. AIRMATIC models feature two additional drive modes: SPORT and SPORT+.

In addition to driving modes, EQ POWER vehicles feature four operating modes: Hybrid, E-MODE, E-SAVE and CHARGE. With the COMAND system, you can enter your destination and your vehicle will develop the best utilization of energy automatically, ensuring your battery is as charged as possible when entering a city, so you can drive through the city in all-electric mode.
