The 48V EQ Boost lends an extra 21 hp and 184 lb.-ft. of torque, causing the 2021 S 580 to crank out an impressive 496 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque.
The V-8 drivetrain is mated to a 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission which you can see in the picture and features Mercedes’ revolutionary 4MATIC® All-Wheel Drive system.
