First, park your car on an even surface. Check your vehicle’s manual to learn the exact location of the battery. Make sure whether it is in the front or the boot.

Protect Yourself

Always wear your safety glasses & gloves before replacing them. Remove the keys from the car.

Disconnect Terminals

Remove the cables & remove the negative terminal first, which is the black side. Then remove the red side or the positive side. Make sure to use the correct size of the spinner to remove the terminals. If you start from the red side first, your spinner can touch the car’s body, impairing the car’s system.

Remove the Old Battery

Remove the clamps & then you can easily remove the old battery.

Check & Clean Terminals

Check if there is any rust or corrosion on them. Make sure the battery tray is clean & dry.

Position New Battery

Place the new battery. Ensure both terminals are on the same side as previously. Make sure the terminals are well secured.

Ready Steady Go

Finish installing by securing the clamps. Now turn on your car & it’s ready to vroom again.

One Bonus Point

While disconnecting the battery, all the systems in the vehicle may act strange for a while. To avoid this, you need an OBD. It will help stay alive the system’s memory.
