Technology innovations of the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE

There are some exciting technology innovations in the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE. While you’ll still have a while before you can get your hands on this upcoming SUV, you’ll at least have time to check out all of the features that will be in this vehicle. Let’s take a look at what they are!

New technology features

We’ve already spoken about the exterior and interior design features, so we won’t go into that. However, there are some things that we have yet to talk about! First up is the ENERGIZING COACH®. This is a new technology that helps the driver decide which drive programs are best utilized. This means the ENERGIZING COACH® takes into account not only the driver but also the type of driving situation they are in. Then, it makes a suggestion as to which driving program is the best fit.

Along the same lines as this is the ENERGIZING® Comfort system. This is less focused on the driving situation and more focused on the driver themselves. This program utilizes the comfort systems that are in the GLE in order to create an atmospheric and relaxing drive. Things like music, lighting, and massage are included among the ENERGIZING® Comfort system.

Driver-assist technology features in the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE

Do you worry about traffic conditions? The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE has some driver-assist features to help you out. Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC® helps to potentially keep your vehicle at a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. It works to detect slow moving traffic and traffic jams and then lowers your vehicle’s speed as a precaution.

If you do find yourself in a traffic jam, the Active Stop-And-Go Assist® can potentially help you keep in your lane and stay a safe distance away from the car ahead of you during the heavy traffic.
