2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA Release Date

Each year Mercedes-Benz works hard to update is current lineup of vehicles to include new technologies and features. It is always exciting to find out what has changed from year to year. Sometimes these changes are obvious and other times it takes some research. Today we’re going to help you learn more about one of the these new vehicles, the recently announced 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA. What’s new with the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA has a resigned exterior and interior as well as some updated technology features. These exterior changes include modified bumpers, new wheel designs and the new color option “Canyon Beige”. The Mercedes-Benz GLA also offers a free-standing 8-inch media display that is slim and easy to read. It also has an available 360-degree camera that records the direct surroundings of the car using front, reversing and one camera in each of the exterior mirrors. There’s also an optional Night Package that includes 19-inch AMG wheels and black window trim, exterior mirrors, roof rails, exhaust tips and exterior accents that extenuate the sporty style of the GLA.

Besides having style upgrades, the 2018 GLA also has some performance improvements. Its updated exterior also adds to the overall aerodynamics of this vehicle. This helps keep the fuel consumption low in everyday conditions and it even has a decreased noise level even at higher speeds.

This model also has some added safety features including available Active Brake Assist. This system warns the driver if there isn’t sufficient distance to the vehicle in front and if required, delivers situation-appropriate braking. The GLA also comes standard with ATTENTION ASSIST(®) that can detect signs of drowsiness and warn the driver.
