The year is 2016. Autumn. Convenience stores are stocking up on glucose. Dentists everywhere are balancing their checkbooks. Parents are panicking. Many places around the country will post public times when trick or treating is to take place. Scottsdale is not one of those places. There is no official trick or treat time, but the traditional time to trick or treat in the city is 6:00 – 8:00 PM, or after dinner but before sunset.
If you are new to the area (or trick or treating), you will find the activity to be very relaxed in Scottsdale. Because of our beautiful climate, many participants will set up camp in their driveway to hand out candy. These are the best and safest trick-or-treat spots. Other houses will leave a light on like normal to let you know they have candy that is up for grabs.
If you are looking for something different this year, there are many other ways to celebrate Halloween in Scottsdale. From horse shows to haunted date nights, don’t let your dentist have all the fun. If you have any questions about trick or treating in Scottsdale for 2016, leave a comment below.
