Scottsdale Fire Department Toy Drive 2015

Every year, the Scottsdale Fire Department collects toys for children who are not fortunate enough to receive gifts during the holidays. The toy drive starts the day after Thanksgiving (November 26), and continues until Christmas Eve. To participate, simply drop off a toy of any value at one of the 14 fire stations in Scottsdale. The toy must be unwrapped and new in the box.

Arizona Helping Hands Toy Drive 2015

Arizona Helping Hands is a state-wide non-profit organization that has donated over one million toys to Arizona children in need. Just last year, it put toys in the hands of 19,000 children through schools, churches, and other social service agencies. The organization was actually in Scottsdale in August to collect toys, but you can still donate money online, which will get turned into toys, books, puzzles, and gifts for children who wouldn’t otherwise receive anything during the holidays.
