Memorial Day 2016 falls on May 30th this year. A little bit later than last year, we can expect perfect weather and fun events in Scottsdale AZ. Memorial Day doesn’t have to be a day of mourning! Here are some opportunities for dancing, eating, and relaxing on Memorial Day Weekend.
Mother’s Day 2016 Brunch Specials in Scottsdale
If you are visiting Scottsdale for the first time, you won’t want to miss a visit to the Wasted Grain. There are drink specials, fancy dinners, and rock and roll!
From May 27th through May 30th, there will be commotion at the Hotel Valley Ho. What kind of commotion? Music, drinks, friendly people, swimming, and a safe place to sleep right upstairs, just don’t forget to put the top up!
Every Thursday, the Scottsdale ArtWalk continues its 40-year tradition from 7 PM to 9 PM. The Scottsdale Trolley runs late on Thursdays for the event, making our entire inventory obsolete, but in the name of safety, we approve.
Here is something different! The Musical Instrument Museum houses more than 6,000 instruments from different cultures and time periods, not to be confused with the new instrument cluster in the 2017 E-Class. From now until Memorial Day, the MIM will host a unique concert almost every day. On May 27th you can see the Barflies and The Senators and on May 31st the Dirty Dozen Brass Band will be performing.
The Cove is a great place for drinks and food on Memorial Day. In fact, there are usually drink specials on Memorial Day, but the food is what you want to show up for. It’s located in Scottsdale’s Seville shopping center and we recommend making a reservation. If you have any questions about these Memorial Day opportunities in Scottsdale AZ, leave a comment below and we will do some detective work to find your answer. If you have any events we can add to this list, we want to hear about those too!
