To celebrate the launch of the performance brand’s first four-door coupe, Mercedes-AMG® will offer a limited-edition Edition 1 model. The Edition 1 model brings even more individual flair to the 2019 AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe with exclusive interior and exterior appointments, including two AMG® packages. The Edition 1 is only available as the top-of-the-line AMG® GT 63 S model boasting the incredible, handcrafted AMG® 4.0L V8 biturbo engine that delivers 630 horsepower and reaches a top speed of 195 MPH. The Edition 1 model is equipped with the AMG® Aerodynamics Package, which adds specific exterior elements including a larger front splitter, integrated flics in the front bumper, an optimized diffuser, and a fixed rear spoiler with a mechanically adjustable angle. The Edition 1 is painted in designo Graphite Grey Magno and features AMG® sports stripes in matte Graphite Grey on the sides above the sill panels, as well as on the decklid, roof, and hood. The exterior look is completed with 21″ AMG® cross-spoke forged wheels painted in matte black and with a high-sheen finish.
The Edition 1 cabin is equipped with the AMG® Multicontour Performance Seats with Memory Package, adding a unique color scheme and a sportier cabin feel. The seats are upholstered in exclusive Nappa leather in Magma Grey/Black with yellow contrasting topstitching. The yellow, black, and grey theme is continued throughout the cabin with elements like yellow seatbelts, Magma Grey Nappa leather door center panels and armrests, AMG® Matte Carbon-Fiber trim, and yellow contrasting topstitching on the AMG® performance steering wheel, the instrument panel, and the floor mats.
