Celebrate the fall season with these end-of-September festivals near Scottsdale!

2017 Fall Festivals and Events near Scottsdale AZ

Just like that summer is over and the fall season is upon us. Luckily, the Scottsdale area has several festivities and events to help celebrate the new season. Located across from the Scottsdale Fashion Square, Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale is a proud member of the community and the annual festivals we have to offer. We put together our top three picks for 2017 fall festivals and events near Scottsdale AZ.

Octoberfest at Salt River Fields

Kick off the fall season with a great party at Salt River Fields. Featuring a variety of beer and beverages from around the world, as well as several delicious food choices, it’s an Octoberfest you don’t want to miss! The event will also feature live music and a bean-bag toss tournament with prizes. Tasting tickets start at $4. Admission is $10 or $60 for VIP. Children 12 and under get in free.  

Where: Salt River Fields at Talking Stick | When: Saturday, Oct. 11 from 10 AM – 10 PM 

Salt River Fields Balloon Spooktacular

Witness the lighting up of the Halloween-night sky by the glow of more than 20 hot-air balloons at the Salt River Fields Balloon Spooktacular. Tethered rides will be available for visitors, and each balloon will serve as a trick-or-treat station for children. The event will also feature live music, food, a Kidszone, a family-friendly Haunted Trail, AZ Scream Park’s Haunted House, and a spectacular fireworks finale. Admission is $10, $5 for kids ages 3-12, and free for kids 2 and under. Balloon rides are $25 and haunted house admission is $8.

Scottsdale Fall Festival

Celebrate fall with traditional fall activities at the Scottsdale Fall Festival. Take a spooky trip through a haunted forest, play games to win prizes and candy, or enter a pumpkin-carving contest. There are also three costume competitions for kids, families, and pets. The event will end with a beautiful firework-show. The event is free to attend.
