New Grille For the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC

2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC New Exterior Design

The SLK is dead. He was a compassionate, happy-go-lucky roadster who survived by his older brother SL-Class and he will be missed greatly. Just kidding! Forget the SLK. A new guy is in town and they call him the SLC. Sure he has roots that stem from the SLK and even the C-Class, but he is one bad dude thanks to the Mercedes-Benz SLC new exterior design.

Okay, you got us. The SLC is merely a facelift of the third generation SLK, but that makes it even more exciting because that means a full redesign is in the mix in the near future. What is also cool is how different the car looks after the facelift. Facelift is usually a term reserved for a subtle new grille or repositioned headlights, but the SLC is rocking a new front section and tasteful tweaks all around the car.

Mercedes-Benz SLC New Diamond Grille

One of the newest luxuries of the Mercedes-Benz culture is the diamond-studded grille. In the past, this has been reserved for premium trims and expensive package upgrades but now it is a standard for the SLC, which goes well with the arrow-shaped hood and the new air intakes in the bumper. The diamond grille can also be upgraded with the Sport Package to feature a chrome finish.

2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC LED Headlights

Mercedes-Benz believes being able to see while your driving is incredibly important. We would have to agree. This is why we are impressed with the new LED headlights and tail lights. The headlights are constructed of clear polycarbonate, meaning they are strong and thin. They also features a scratchproof coating and even come with a Dynamic LED option that features black finishing in and around the headlamp. This is an aesthetic upgrade but it gives the headlights depth and looks really cool. The same LED technology is used on the back of the car.
