Exterior Styling

The 2019 AMG CLS 53 Coupe features a distinctive, unique look, starting with an exterior design element previously reserved for the V8 AMG models—a twin-blade radiator grille in silver chrome. The grille now features a black lattice pattern instead of a diamond pattern with individual pins. The front bumper features an A-wing design equipped with black flics and a front splitter in silver chrome. The outer air intakes have two horizontal fins in silver chrome, and AMG-specific side sill panels create a more dynamic profile.

From the rear, the CLS 53 Coupe stands out with a redesigned rear bumper and classic, round twin tailpipe trim elements in high-gloss chrome. The lip spoiler on the trunk lid is painted the same as the body color but is also available in carbon-fiber via an upgrade. The coupe’s two-section taillights allow for a large trunk opening. The CLS 53 Coupe comes standard with 19” light-alloy wheels and offers 20” wheels as an upgrade.

Cabin Design and New Color Options

The 2019 CLS AMG 53 Coupe features model-specific, exclusive appointments, premium materials, and several customization options. For the appointments, the model offers a choice of MB-Tex man-made leather/DINAMICA microfiber, nappa leather, and designo interiors. The coupe also offers a choice of color combinations in macchiato beige/magma grey, black/Bengal red and espresso brown/magma grey. The ambient color is also repeated on the steering wheel rim and the color concept is systematically continued throughout the cabin in a wave design.
