What is the standard performance of the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS?

The base trim level of the 2022 EQS is the EQS 450+. This EQS parks a 245-kW motor on the rear axle giving this machine rear-wheel drive. This engine is able to deliver up to 329 horsepower and 417 pound-feet of instantaneous torque. This ridiculous amount of power allows the 2022 EQS 450+ to reach 0-60 mph in just 5.9 seconds. It can also hit a top speed of 130 mph.

Is the 2022 EQS available with 4MATIC® all-wheel drive?

There is another trim for the 2022 EQS, and it’s called the EQS 580 4MATIC®. As its name would imply, this machine comes with Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC® all-wheel drive, which is made possible by the dual-motor setup that puts one motor on the rear axle again and one additional motor on the front axle for a total output of 385 kW.

The combined performance of both of these engines puts the specs 516 horsepower and 631 pound-feet of torque. With this even more powerful drivetrain, the EQS 580 4MATIC® can go from 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds. The top speed of 130 mph remains unchanged.
