Local Light– Returning for its second year, Local Light places public light-based art pieces around businesses in Old Town Scottsdale. Artists featured this year are: The Sunset People, Francisco Flores, Casey Farina, Amanda Clayton and Daniel Funkhouser. You can see these installations from October 26^th through December 31^st, 2019.

Murmuration- Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art will be displaying Squidsoup’s installation titled Murmuration. This piece uses a data system to connect light and audio sources to create a responsive data experience. During the day, it will offer an auditory experience, but at night it will provide an audiovisual experience. Visit SMoCA between November 1^st, 2019 and May 1^st, 2020 to see this installation.

Scottsdale International Film Festival– For those who prefer films, don’t miss this festival. Over 600 films will be played at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Harkins Shea 14 Theatre and Harkins Camelview at Scottsdale Fashion Square.  The festival will include Academy Award winning films, indie films, comedies and documentaries. See these films from November 1^st through November 10^th.
