What’s in the new concept vehicle Mercedes-Benz GLB SUV?

Did you know there is a new concept Mercedes-Benz SUV? That’s right! Say hello to the Mercedes-Benz GLB SUV. Slotting right between the Mercedes-Benz GLA and the Mercedes-Benz GLC, the GLB provides a bit more space than the GLA with the technology of the GLC. Let’s take a look at what’s in this exciting vehicle.

Concept Mercedes-Benz GLB SUV features

Unlike the two vehicles it slots between, the Mercedes-Benz GLB is designed for off-road capability. So, it has tires specifically designed for off-road. Standing at 17-inches, these tires go well with the GLB. For further utility, the GLB is equipped with roof-rails and a roof box to increase the amount of cargo drivers can carry more than just what the cargo space inside can fit.

You’ll also have 40/20/40 split-folding seats to help drivers use the most out of the inside of the GLB. Unlike it’s GLA and GLC counterparts, this vehicle has a 3rd row seating for those who need a bit more seating space.

One of the technology features we need to highlight is the Mercedes-Benz User Experience, also known as the MBUX infotainment system. If you’ve perused our blog recently, you’ve probably seen many blogs at least mentioned this infotainment system. In light of this, we won’t talk much about it. Just know this system brings innovation and ease of use with natural-language voice control and a touchscreen display.

Will the Mercedes-Benz GLB be sold in the United States?

We don’t know if we’ll actually see the Mercedes-Benz concept SUV here in the U.S. However, we are keeping our fingers crossed. The GLB can add a breath of fresh air and more versatility to the Mercedes-Benz lineup. Added with the all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQC, we are excited to see what this European brand has in store for the years to come!
