Here at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale, AZ, we always make sure to remind Mercedes-Benz owners to bring in their vehicles for the A and B Services. However, warning lights don’t care about your vehicle’s service schedule. Today, we’ll show you what all the different colors of warning lights in your Mercedes-Benz vehicle mean. Take a look at our details on the Mercedes-Benz warning light color codes below.
The warning lights in your Mercedes-Benz will show in one of three colors: green, yellow, or red. All three have different meanings.
Conveniently, they match traffic lights. Just remember that green means go, yellow means slow, and red means stop. That’s all there is to it!
Most of the warning lights in your dashboard will be yellow in color. These include the check engine light, coolant levels light, tire pressure light, ABS light, brake pad wear light, electronic stability problem light, brake assist system light, and bulb warning light, just to name a few. All of these inform you that there are problems to be monitored, but don’t necessarily mean that you need to pull over right now. Red lights, such as the SRS light, battery charge light, low engine oil light, overheating light, and brake fluid light, mean pull over immediately and call roadside assistance.
