McDonald’s Rock and Roll Car Show

The longest running show of its kind, the McDonald’s Rock ‘n’ Roll car show is the best place to view classic cars and motorcycles. This open-air event is free, featuring 50’s era music and an average night showcase of 250-500 cars and up to 150 motorcycles.

Ocean of Light: Submergence – A Squidsoup Project

Squidsoup is a U.K.-based collective that created a stunning LED light installation using light-based data visualization to create an augmented reality environment. The interactive installation, named Ocean of Light: Submergence, was designed to provide a context for understanding how vast data can be.

Desert Botanical Garden Flashlight Tours

Explore and experience the Desert Botanical Garden in a whole new way. Flashlight tours take your senses on an adventure, allowing you to see, hear, and feel the desert at night. Beam your own flashlight along the trails to capture the scenery and the animals that come out at night. The garden also features activities to promote play, learning, and adventure—making it the perfect place to take kids.
