We here at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale in Peoria, AZ, get a lot of sun. In fact, Arizona has more sunny days than any other state in the US, making it a perfect place for solar panels. In turn, that makes it great for electric cars. Solar panels charging an EV is a double whammy of green energy goodness. What is the Mercedes-Benz EQB? Well, here’s what we know so far.
The upcoming EQB is based on the popular Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class SUV. It is slated to release in the US market sometime in the 2022 calendar year. There are no official announcements as to the battery pack that the EQB model will use, but some reporting outlets have speculated that it might utilize the same battery pack as the EQA, an electric model based on the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class SUV that has yet to reach US shores.

We’re excited to see how this all-new model from the Mercedes-EQ team turns out!
