What does the Mercedes-Benz Carwash Function do?

• Closes side windows
• Closes sliding sunroof
• Folds the side mirrors in
• Puts the suspension to as high as possible
• Turns off rain sensor information (because of this, the windshield wipers won’t activate)
• Activates the 360-degree camera to help the driver as they go into the carwash
• Climate control switches to air-recirculation mode

So, your GLS will adjust to protect itself when entering the car wash. This means you won’t need to worry about your car’s side mirrors and the rain-sensing windshield wipers accidentally snapping off.
