What changes were made to the 2019 E-Class family?

When will the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class go on sale in the U.S.?

Wondering when you can get behind the wheel of the newest Mercedes-Benz E-Class? The 2019 E-Class family is expected to go on sale in the U.S. by fall of 2018. For 2019, the E-Class models will sport several updates, including a more powerful engine and two new model designations: the E 450 and the E 450 4MATIC®* trim levels. Changes and Updates

The new E 450 and E 450 4MATIC®* model variants will replace the current E 400 and E 400 4MATIC®* variants to reflect the model’s new features and style. In addition to the model lineup changes, the 2019 E-Class models will also feature various changes and updates throughout the vehicle.

Updates for the 2019 E-Class include new 19″ AMG® wheels with the Night Package, a newly available Rear Safety Package, and new center consoles for the two additional variants. Accessing the model’s driver-assistance features is easier than ever thanks to a new three-spoke Nappa Leather multifunction steering wheel with controls to operate all the safety systems. 2019 E-Class models are also newly equipped with route-based speed adaptation, which helps drivers safely navigate different driving scenarios and roads with map and navigation data.

Performance Specs

The E 300 and E 300 4MATIC®* variants will sport a 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine, while the new E 450 and E 450 4MATIC®* variants boast an upgraded 3.0L V6 biturbo engine that is both more powerful and more efficient.

E 300 – 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque

E 450 – 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque

Coupe

E 450 – 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque

Cabriolet

Wagon

E 450 – 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque
