How to keep your luxury vehicle safe during monsoon season in Scottsdale

How to prepare your car for monsoon season

Check your tires. If they are bald, replace them. If they are flat, fill them. Good tires mean better traction on the road.

Stay away from using car covers. This might be tempting, especially with a luxury vehicle, but if you trap moisture between the car cover and the car itself you can actually damage your vehicle. It’s better to just clean off your car than to repair the damage that comes from using a car cover during monsoon season.

Make sure the visibility in your car is solid. This means repairing any chips or cracks in your windshield, cleaning off your headlights and taillights, and replacing any dead bulbs.

Protect the inside of your car. If you have a luxury vehicle then you probably have leather or leatherette seats, but even if you don’t it’s not fun to see your seats stained and dirty from the gross weather that you can accidentally track into your car. So, buy some seat covers and floor mats to protect the inside of your car. Make sure they are sturdy but easy to clean.
