Vehicle Prep

The initial preparation for any long drive starts with preparing the vehicle.

  • Fuel up your vehicle.
  • Make sure to check all the crucial papers such as the registration certificate, insurance papers, & PUC as well.
  • Check Your vehicle’s essential fluids that your car needs for a smooth ride.
  • Check the tire pressure as well. Top it up with nitrogen.
  • Always carry an extra toolkit for the safe side.
  • Start your journey with a neat & clean, decluttered car.

Route Planning

  • Download the map because you never know the network connectivity of your destination.
  • Know the best route along with its alternative roads.
  • Try to take a break after every two hours of driving.

Personal Prepare for a Long Drive

  • It’s hard because of the excitement, but try to get a good night’s sleep for at least 6 to 7 hours before starting to drive. It is always best to start fresh early in the morning to prevent tiredness or drowsy driving.
  • Setting a schedule & plan out the entire trip & stops makes your journey hassle-free. You should have a clear vision of where you are going and how many snack breaks you are taking.
  • Pack enough snacks with sufficient water. This is a brilliant way to save a lot of both time & money. Try this out & you’re going to thank me later. Drink enough water while driving. Because staying hydrated means staying alert.
  • Always wear comfortable clothes in multiple layers. You can adjust them to specify your temperature comfort levels. Pack a few extra clothes for emergencies.
