What’s new on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV?

If you are looking for your new luxury SUV you may already know about the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV. But if you don’t, here’s what’s new on this upcoming SUV.

Power & performance

You’ll see a new engine on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS 580 4MATIC®* SUV a 4.0-Liter V8 biturbo engine with an EQ boost and a 48-vold onboard electrical system. This means you’ll have 483 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. On the 450 4MATIC®* you’ll have a 3.0L I-6 Turbo with an EQ Boost. It has 362 hp and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. For both trims the EQ boost gives you up to 21 hp and up to 184 lb.-ft. of torque.

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that you’ll have a faster acceleration in the GLS 580 4MATIC®* at 5.2 seconds, but the 450 4MATIC®* still has a nicely nimble 5.9-second acceleration.

Technology features of the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV
