Widescreen Cockpit Display

The 2019 Mercedes-AMG E-Class 53 Coupe welcomes driver and passengers with model-specific, exclusive appointments, luxurious materials, and extended customization options. The model features an innovative control and display concept with bright, dual high-resolution displays with a 12.3” screen in each case. The two displays sit under one shared glass cover that blends into a Widescreen Cockpit, emphasizing the horizontal orientation of the cabin design.

The Widescreen Cockpit contains a large display with virtual instruments in the driver’s direct field of vision, along with a central display above the center console. The driver can choose the three different display styles—Classic, Sporty, and Progressive—and configure the information and views to his/her needs. The AMG menu displays key vehicle information like engine and transmission oil temperature, acceleration, horsepower and torque, tire pressure levels, and much more.

AMG Performance Steering Wheel

The 2019 AMG E 53 Coupe also features AMG-specific interior design details, including the newly available AMG performance steering wheel. The standard-fit AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather offers individualization options like wood inserts in piano lacquer or DINAMICA microfiber in the grip area. The sporty, athletic look is continued with the sport seats featuring AMG-specific seat upholstery and the AMG badge.
