Image Shown: 2019 Mercedes GLC Coupe
It has been a while since we have heard from Maybach. Mercedes-Benz and AMG (®) have been hard at work in the last few years rebranding vehicles and creating new ones such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC and the GLC Coupe. Actually, it has been hard to keep up with it all, even for us. Now, for the first time in more than two years, Mercedes-Benz gave us a little taste of Maybach glory with the picture you see above. With little to no information on the mystery car, we are calling it the 2019 Mercedes-Maybach Luxury Coupe Concept. Will it become a reality? Obviously, we hope so. Here is what we can decipher from the image.
We have heard some refer to it as a haunch, but we aren’t comfortable with that term so we’ll just it the area behind the side windows. You can see a Maybach badge. This is a dead giveaway, even though Mercedes-Benz didn’t say Maybach on any of its social media outlets.
At Subway, this would cost about a hundred bucks. From Maybach, you’re looking at more than $300,000. This is the one hint that was given to us. At 20 feet, it is almost three feet longer than the Mercedes-Maybach Pullman S-Class, which is already a stretched version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Are the 1930s coming back? It’s definitely ostensible!
