Why won’t my car radio turn on?

If it isn’t just the radio that isn’t turning on the culprit may be a dead battery. Get some jumper cables and see if you can jump your car. However, if your car turns on but there isn’t any sound coming from the radio, it could also be:

• Bad speaker wires
• Blown fuse
• Damaged tuner
• Damaged antenna

If your vehicle has a CD player, try turning that on. If you get sound from there but not from the radio, then it may be a damaged tuner or antenna.
