Connecting your smartphone to the Mercedes-Benz infotainment system enhances your driving experience with effortless access to music, calls, navigation, and more. Using Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, you can mirror your smartphone’s features directly on the infotainment display.
Ensure the vehicle is stationary. For safety reasons, setup cannot be performed while driving. Connect your smartphone to the USB port in the center console using a compatible cable. To start Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, access the Device Manager through the Telephone Menu. Select the Settings Option and navigate to Devices. Find your smartphone under connected devices and select the Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™ icon.

Once the Bluetooth® is activated, go to the Telephone Menu from the multimedia home screen and tap the gear icon. Select Devices, then choose Connect New Device to search for your smartphone. Pick your smartphone from the list. A code will appear on both your phone and the multimedia system. Confirm the code on your phone to establish the connection. After the initial pairing, your phone will automatically connect to the system whenever Bluetooth is enabled.
