Engine Options

Both trims for the 2015 G-Class utilize a 5.5-liter V8 Engine. For the AMG model, this engine recieves a biturbo setup that skyrockets the horsepower into the 500-horsepower range. Both engines can tow up to 7,000 pounds, and both offer incredible comfort with a 7-speed transmission. The G63 AMG engine even features ECO start-stop capabilities.

Fuel Economy

Although the G-Class is not designed for fuel efficiency, it is still a leader in its category. The base model G550 achieves an EPA-estimated rating of 12 miles per gallon in the city and 15 on the highway. With the omnipotent G63, the G-Class proudly boasts a similar rating of 12 miles per gallon in the city and 14 on the highway.

The trim elements on the inside of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class are designed specifically for this car, giving the interior a unique, comforting look. It also features a large touch screen that supports COMAND navigation and a DVD changer.
