2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS Coupe Scottsdale AZ

The all-new, third-generation 2019 CLS Coupe will arrive in Scottsdale, AZ at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale by fall 2018. The new coupe will usher in a new design idiom for the luxury brand, which is distinguished by clear contours and reduced body lines. In addition to the new design, the coupe also features model-specific elements like wide, low-set headlights, two-section taillamps, and a forward-slanting front section. The 2019 CLS, however, still reflects the timeless aura of the first CLS.

The 2019 CLS Coupe offers seating for five passengers for the first time ever. The spacious, premium cockpit is filled with innovative technology and upscale amenities like ambient lighting, smartphone integration, and Car-to-X communication to enhance life behind the wheel. The coupe’s sportscar status is reinforced with details like newly designed sport seats and ambient-lighting illuminated air vents.

2019 CLS Coupe Performance Specs

The third-generation 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS Coupe is powered by a completely new in-line six-cylinder engine with an integrated electric motor and a 48-volt onboard electrical system. The electric motor, EQ Boost, assists the combustion engine to enable all-electric driving for short periods. This capability, called “sailing” increases the coupe’s efficiency and offers fuel-saving capability that was previously only found within the hybrid segment.

The new 2019 CLS Coupe also features a new, advanced suspension system—a four-link front suspension and a five-link rear suspension. The coupe’s available AIR BODY CONTROL® suspension system has been improved to include driver-selectable modes, like comfortable and sporty, that change the characteristics of the drive via the driving mode switch.

Thanks to the new performance enhancements, the 2019 CLS Coupe delivers an exciting 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Better yet, the CLS Coupe offers an additional 21 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque over short periods via EQ Boost. Finally, the 2019 CLS Coupe accelerates from 0-60 mph in only 4.8 seconds.
