As you can see, these two trims of the GLA are very similar. However, there is one major difference; the drivetrain. Standard on the GLA 250 is the usual front-wheel drive, which many of our models have. However, front-wheel drive isn't actually the favorite drivetrain of our customers. Instead, they prefer the GLA 250 4MATIC®*, since it has the 4MATIC®* all-wheel drive that helps make Mercedes-Benz a popular brand. Even though the 250 4MATIC®* does have this perk, there is a drawback. Mainly, the price. As you can see, the Starting MSRP** of the GLA 250 4MATIC®* is higher than the GLA 250.
However, there’s much more to the GLA than its engine specifications. Don’t forget to check out the various standard features both trims offer, including a power liftgate, the KEYLESS START® system, DYNAMIC SELECT®, and dual-zone climate control.
