The larger screen size on the 2020 GLC Coupe is courtesy of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience system, which is standard on all trims of the 2020 GLC Coupe. The 10.25-inch display screen on the 2020 model is actually a touchscreen display. Since this is a new technology, the MBUX system isn’t available on the previous year’s model.

Speaking of technology, you can get Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ in both year models. However, this smartphone technology is actually standard in the 2020, while it’s an option in the 2019 model.
