2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe vs 2019 GLC Coupe

The Mercedes-Benz GLC is one of the more popular Mercedes-Benz models you will find on the road today. Now, its popularity only increases now that you can also get this model in a Coupe styling. Many of our customers enjoy the flashiness of the Coupe without compromising on any of the luxurious technologies. But now, you’ll need to decide if you are going to get the most recent GLC Coupe, which is the 2020 model, or if you are going to stick with the 2019 GLC Coupe. So, that’s what we are here to figure out. Let’s get started.

To begin, you’ll have more power in the 2020 version. While this is definitely a good thing for the 2020 GLC Coupe, the power on the 2019 GLC Coupe is still a solid 241 hp and 273 lb.-ft. of torque, so both models are a good choice. However, the display screen size has been significantly increased in the 2020 GLC Coupe, whereas you’ll only find a 7-inch screen in the 2019 GLC Coupe.

The larger screen size on the 2020 GLC Coupe is courtesy of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience system, which is standard on all trims of the 2020 GLC Coupe. The 10.25-inch display screen on the 2020 model is actually a touchscreen display. Since this is a new technology, the MBUX system isn’t available on the previous year’s model.

Speaking of technology, you can get Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ in both year models. However, this smartphone technology is actually standard in the 2020, while it’s an option in the 2019 model. So, you’ll have a more powerful vehicle with modern technologies, many of which are standard a on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe.
