The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE is a popular model for luxury shoppers. With technology such as the MBUX® multimedia system and voice control, this model has a variety of perks. But with all of the talk about the MBUX® system, we haven’t spoken much of the power and performance we can see on the trims of this SUV. So, we are going to compare the power, performance, and price of the 2020 Mercedes-Benz trims. Hopefully, this comparison will help you determine which trim interests you more.
First off, there are 3 trims, the GLE 350, GLE 350 4MATIC®*, and the GLE 450 4MATIC®*. As you can imagine, the Starting MSRP** is less in the base trim than in the top trim. We’ve already said the MBUX® system is standard in the GLE, but just to clarify; the MBUX® system is standard in all trims of the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE. This way, you’ll have the advantages of this system like its voice control and touchscreen display.
The GLE 350 can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7 seconds. You’ll lose just a bit of speed when you go up to the middle trim, which has a 7.1-second acceleration. The top trim, as you might expect, has the fastest 0-60 mph acceleration with its 5.5 seconds. This isn’t too surprising, since the bottom two trims don’t have as much power as the top trim. However, they still have an admirable 255 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. The GLE 450 4MATIC®*, however, still has a 362 hp and 369 lb.-ft. of torque.
