The Mercedes-AMG GT's powertrain is designated "EQ Power+," as is the W08 EQ Power+ Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport Formula 1 car. The performance hybrid system combines a powerful Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 Biturbo engine with an additional powerful electric motor, ensuring instant response and exceedingly high performance with an output of up to 805 horsepower. The Mercedes-AMG EQE is expected to have two electric motors, which will allow the model's performance to take precedence over everything else. The model's electric drivetrain will include an engine on each axle and a fully variable all-wheel drive.
